DAY 01: KATHMANDU – ZHANGMU: Departing at 0530 am from Kathmandu, approx. 05 hrs drive along the Arniko Highway, will take us to Kodari (China / Nepal Border). We cross the Friendship Bridge at the border & drive to Zhangmu by jeep (or truck) where after completion of immigration formalities, we will enter to the Chinese Autonomous Region & start the first night in the Tibetan plateau. We will be staying at the hotel/guest house nearby Zhangmu. Overnight at Zhangmu. .......

 Day 01:  Prior to landing in the Tribhuvan International Airport, you could have some excelllent views of snow-capped mountains, meet with our tour coordinator  and transfer to hotel. ......

We begin the tour by traveling to Kathmandu and departing by road to the Nepal/Tibet border town of Zhangmu (religious or secular) return by the route. The day to day program is outlined as follows:

Drive to Kathmandu (1,303 m.) to Kodari. Trek 8 km. Tour Zhangmu 9,2220 m.) overnight at Zhangmu hotel. .....

Day 01 KATHMANDU / NYALAM (3750 m.)
Drive from Kathmandu to the Tibetan border at Kodari / Zhangmu. Continue up the steep switchback road to Nyalam. .....

Day 01 FLY KATHMANDU / LHASA (3650 m.)
Transfer from Gonggar airport to your hotel in Lhasa.

Day 02 LHASA
Guided sightseeing tour - Sera Monastery, Jokhang temple and Barkhor Bazaar. .....
